Bring out your dead!

Every game night has a shelf of fallen friends. Bring a very dead plant of your own and earn more chances to win. Your plant gets an evidence tag, a spot on the shelf and a shot at an award.

Crispy, collapsed, and beyond reasonable hope. No patients, please.

  • Plants must be dry, bagged or in a closed container, and free of visible pests.

  • No almost dead plants, and no photos of dead plants.

  • Take it home after, or we’ll compost it with dignity.

Awards, voted at the half: Most Dramatic Death · Most Expensive Mistake · Death Under Suspicious Circumstances

I killed that sticker, a Dead Plants Society giveaway.

Let’s get together!

Hands on gatherings that run all year. Watch Instagram for dates.

The Stolen Garden: a propagation walk with a wink. Learn to spot propagation opportunities, take cuttings with permission and turn a few stems into a growing garden.

Compost Club: turn yesterday’s scraps into tomorrow’s soil. Compost, worms and the life beneath our feet. Compare methods, troubleshoot together and leave with a practical next step.

Cut + Come Again: a recurring cutting swap. Bring stems to share, practice a technique, meet other growers, then come back to compare what rooted.

BITERS & BADDIES

Tuesday, October 27 at Barrett’s Too

Our very first game night, and what a crowd. You came ready to compete, laughed through every clue, and brought some truly tragic dead plants for the Shelf of the Fallen. Almost everyone went home with something new to keep alive, whether a carnivorous plant, a native or a pocket full of seeds.

Thank you for spending the night with us. We can’t wait to do it again.
